香港電訊錄得穩健中期業績

於8月5日，香港電訊公佈截至2015年上半年再次錄得穩健的業績，彰顯各項業務的穩固市場地位，以及去年5月完成收購CSL後成功整合其業務。期內經調整資金流增加百分之二十三至港幣19.53億元，中期分派每個股份合訂單位港幣25.79分。

HKT reports solid interim financial results

On August 5, HKT reported another set of solid financial results for the first half of 2015, demonstrating the strong market position of our lines of business and the successful integration of CSL since the completion of the acquisition in May 2014. Adjusted funds flow increased by 23% to HK$1,953 million and the board has resolved an interim distribution of 25.79 HK cents per Share Stapled Unit.

舊手機回收

與其將舊手機棄置於垃圾箱，何不將其回收及捐贈予有需要人士？1O1O及csl 聯同聖雅各福群會綠色家電環保園推行「助己‧助人‧助地球舊手機回收計劃」 ，鼓勵客戶到1O1O Center及csl專門店，捐出舊手機或電池、充電器等配件。我們會有專人代為清除舊手機內的一切資料，保障客戶個人私隱，並將手機及配件轉交環保園家電再生中心作檢查及維修，再轉贈予有需要人士。不能復修的舊手機及配件將會拆解，並交由環保署認可的合資格回收商處理。更多詳情，請瀏覽1O1O及csl網頁。
　

　
Handsets Recycling

Instead of discarding your old mobile handsets, you have a better way of handling – recycle and donate them. Joining hands with St. James Settlement’s “WEEE GO GREEN” recycling scheme, 1O1O and csl are launching the “Help Yourself‧Help the Needy‧Help the Earth Handset Recycling Program” which encourages customers to donate their handsets and accessories such as batteries and chargers at any 1O1O Center and csl shops. Our specialists will help erase all data in order to protect the privacy of donors before the donated items are sent to the recycling centre for repair and redistribution to the needy. Items that are beyond repair will be dismantled and delivered to qualified recyclers approved by the Environment Protection Department. 青少年IT夏令營

香港電訊及其母公司電訊盈科贊助由香港電腦學會、上海市電腦學會及IMA資訊經理人協會（台灣）合辦的滬港台青少年IT夏令營，致力培育未來資訊科技專才。今年的夏令營於7月28日至8月1日於上海舉行，約60名滬、港、台學生參加，探索及體驗科技如何點亮智慧生活。

為了讓香港參加者於出發前對生活科技有更多認識，一個簡介會於HKT 中環 Signature Store舉行，學生藉此親身體驗智能家居、電子學習及e体健服務。　

Youth IT summer camp

HKT and its parent company, PCCW, are cultivating future IT professionals by sponsoring the Shanghai-Hong Kong-Taiwan Youth IT Summer Camp co-organized by the Hong Kong Computer Society, Shanghai Computer Society and Information Management Association, Taiwan. This year, around 60 students from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai gathered in Shanghai from July 28 to August 1 to explore and experience smart living technology.

　
摯誠服務社區20載

長期投入義工服務並不容易，但我們的企業義工隊熱心公益，今年更是義工隊正式成立二十周年。公司義工嘉許禮於7月18日舉行，多名義工於典禮上獲社會福利署頒發嘉許狀。公司更推出義工嘉許計劃，員工參與社區服務，可享有義工假期。
　

義工隊今年開始參與「愛包行動」，超過180名公司義工分隊於晚上前往各區的指定麵包店，收集未出售的新鮮麵包，再運送到鄰近的社會服務機構，協助減少食物浪費，同時亦可幫助有需要人士。

Here we serve the needy for 20 years

Long-term commitment to volunteer services is never a breeze. This year, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the formal establishment of our volunteer team. A volunteer award ceremony along with the celebration dinner was held on July 18 where colleagues received certificates from the Social Welfare Department. HKT has also introduced a Volunteer Appreciation Scheme, granting volunteer leaves to employees participating in community services.

One of the voluntary services that the volunteer team has newly joined this year is the “Bread Angel” program. Over 180 staff volunteers have teamed up to collect and deliver unsold bread from designated bakeries to beneficiaries in different districts at night. This service cannot only help reduce food waste but also help the people in need.
