香港電訊推出嶄新的會員獎賞計劃The Club，旗下各項服務的客戶不但可體驗星級服務，更盡享一系列的精彩禮遇。為隆重其事，香港電訊於12月在城中新地標香港摩天輪舉行大型啟動派對，數千名尊貴客戶及嘉賓出席盛事，為The Club揭開序幕。

香港電訊作為香港摩天輪的指定及獨家廣告及宣傳合作夥伴，衷心把歡樂帶給大眾，並特意於12月20日舉行「HKT香港摩天輪同樂日」，邀請數百名來自不同慈善團體及學校的小孩及親友，免費登上摩天輪之旅，共度歡欣難忘的聖誕佳節。香港電訊亦於12月20至28日舉辦「HKT聖誕樂天輪」聖誕市集，場內設有不同主題展區，更備有現場音樂演出等豐富節目，吸引數萬名市民參加。

在大除夕，呈獻「螢接 2015」倒數嘉年華，與數千名客戶及其親友在摩天輪下進行跨年倒數，迎接2015年的來臨。

The Club – a new rewards program

HKT has launched The Club, a new loyalty and rewards program across all its services, which offers its members a great variety of prestigious services and exclusive membership benefits. To celebrate the debut of The Club, HKT invited thousands of customers and guests to launch parties in December at The Wheel, Hong Kong’s new iconic attraction.

Being The Wheel’s official and exclusive partner for advertising and promotion activities within the site, HKT is also dedicated to spreading happiness to the community. It organized on December 20 “HKT NGO Day @ The Wheel 2014” to offer children from a number of non-governmental organizations and schools a free ride on The Wheel. Hundreds of children and their families enjoyed an unforgettable journey for Christmas celebration. “HKT Christmas @ The Wheel”, a Christmas fair, was also held by HKT during December 20-28 with special theme zones and exciting programs such as musical live performances, attracting tens of thousands of participants.

On New Year's Eve, organized a mega countdown party at The Wheel to herald in 2015 with thousands of customers and their families at the Central waterfront area.

4G網絡速度提升至300Mbps

成功在本地流動通訊業再創先河，採用嶄新技術，將流動通訊網絡升級至速度高達300Mbps的4G LTE-Advanced。客戶現可在沙田至上水的新界地區，以及港鐵新開通的西港島線使用兼容的Cat 6手機或流動設備，體驗此高速網絡所帶來的好處。此網絡升級將陸續擴展至其他地區。

upgrades 4G Network to 300Mbps

has become the first mobile operator in Hong Kong to upgrade its mobile network to 4G LTE-Advanced at 300Mbps with the adoption of a new technology that delivers greater volumes of data at faster speeds. Customers using compatible Cat 6 handsets or mobile devices can now experience these benefits in New Territories districts from Shatin to Sheung Shui and along the MTR's new West Island Line. Upgrade of the network will be extended to other parts of Hong Kong progressively.

HKT education已成為Google認可的電子學習服務供應商，為香港學校引入Google Apps for Education及新世代電子教學裝置Chromebook，融入HKT education電子學習方案，為師生提供專業互動的電子學習平台。

Joining hands with Google to enrich eLearning experience

HKT education has been recognized as Google's authorized eLearning service provider in Hong Kong to introduce Google Apps for Education and the next generation of eLearning device Chromebook for Hong Kong schools. Integrating the new technology into HKT education eLearning Solutions, a professional interactive e-learning platform is now available for teachers and students.

分享冬日愛心暖意

香港電訊一直都是樂施毅行者的支持者，去年亦不例外，除贊助大會通訊服務及捐出善款外，亦派出七隊健兒出賽。

另一方面，於12月6日，超過70位義工到廣華醫院進行探訪活動，向近700位病友派發聖誕禮物。於同月13日，我們與福利機構協康會合辦聖誕慶祝活動，與50多位患有自閉症的小朋友及其家長歡度佳節。

於11月22日，電訊盈科再度榮獲社會福利署推廣義工服務督導委員會頒發「2013年最高服務時數獎（私人團體 – 組別一）」優異獎，以表揚我們積極參與義工服務。

Share warmth and care in winter

HKT has been an active supporter of Oxfam Trailwalker. Besides sponsoring wide-ranging telecommunications services and making donation, last year we also had seven teams of participants breaking sweat for the charitable cause.

Meanwhile, our volunteer team sent heartwarming greetings to the community during Christmas. Volunteers visited 700 patients and distributed gifts at Kwong Wah Hospital on December 6. We later collaborated with Heep Hong Society in celebrating Christmas with more than 50 children with autism and their parents on December 13.

In recognition of our volunteer services, PCCW was again awarded a merit prize in the “Highest Service Hour Award in 2013 (Private Organizations - Category 1)” by the Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service, Social Welfare Department on November 22.

香港電訊加入碳足跡資料庫

香港電訊及母公司電訊盈科率先加入環境保護署建立的碳足跡資料庫，公開其碳足跡資料。早前公司在資料庫啟動禮上從環境局局長黃錦星先生接過證書。

HKT joins online carbon footprint repository

HKT and parent company PCCW are among the first movers to join the online carbon footprint repository set up by the Environmental Protection Department, which encourages listed companies in Hong Kong to disclose their carbon footprints. The companies received certificates at the repository launching ceremony from Mr. Wong Kam-sing, the Secretary for the Environment.
