香港電訊開設首間「io.t by HKT」概念店，展示物聯網（Internet of Things, IoT）科技如何使日常生活各方面更多姿多彩。

概念店面積達5,200平方呎，以「inspiring our tomorrow（啟發未來）」為主題，體現香港電訊的全新零售理念 － 將最先進的IoT產品及服務匯聚於同一店內，並設有多個特色專區，讓客戶可盡享IoT在通訊、娛樂、教育及工作等方面帶來的好處。新店座落於尖沙咀ELEMENTS圓方購物中心。

New concept store

HKT has opened its first “io.t by HKT” concept store, showcasing how the Internet of Things (IoT) technology enriches virtually every aspect of daily life.

Upholding the proposition of “inspiring our tomorrow”, the 5,200-sq.ft concept store expresses HKT’s brand new retailing notion of bringing top-notch IoT related products and services under one roof. Comprising different distinctive zones, the store enables customers to embrace the benefits that IoT can bring to communications, entertainment, education, work, etc. The shop is located at the ELEMENTS mall in Tsim Sha Shui.

香港電訊錄得滿意的中期業績

香港電訊於8月宣佈截至2017年6月30日止六個月錄得滿意的財務業績，反映旗下各項業務的表現強韌，以及營運效率持續改善。經調整資金流增加百分之四至港幣21.29億元。

HKT reports satisfactory interim results

In August, HKT announced a satisfactory set of financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2017, underpinned by the strength and resilience of all of our lines of business as well as continued operating efficiency improvements. Adjusted funds flow increased by 4% to HK$2,129 million.

「拍住賞」推出「Go QR」

為支持零售商進行無現金交易，Tap & Go「拍住賞」推出使用QR碼的便捷流動收款服務。這項服務特別適合初創企業及小商戶。客戶只需透過手機錢包掃描商戶的指定QR碼，即可付款。

此外，「拍住賞」進一步將增值網絡擴展至40多間香港銀行。客戶亦可預設增值。

Tap & Go introduces "Go QR"

Supporting retailers to conduct cashless transactions, Tap & Go has introduced an easy mobile payment acceptance service using QR codes. The service is particularly suitable for start-ups and small merchants. Customers can make payment easily by scanning the merchant’s designated QR code with their mobile wallets.

Besides, Tap & Go has expanded its top-up network to more than 40 banks in Hong Kong. Customers can also set up scheduled top-ups.

1Gbps流動網絡

香港電訊繼於5月提供LTE-A 600Mbps服務後，再創新標準，推出香港首個1Gbps^網絡，是邁向5G流動通訊的一大步。流動通訊用戶可使用兼容裝置*於指定熱點體驗高達1Gbps的峰值下載速率。

此外，CSL推出「航空漫遊日費通行證」，讓客戶可在多家主要國際航空公司旗下的指定航機上，享用數據漫遊服務。

1Gbps mobile network

Following the launch of LTE-A 600Mbps network in May, HKT has set another benchmark by rolling out Hong Kong's first 1Gbps^ mobile network as a solid move forward to 5G. Mobile users can enjoy peak download speed of up to 1Gbps with the use of a compatible device* at selected locations.

Besides, CSL has introduced “In-flight Day Pass” to enable travelers to enjoy data roaming service on plane. The service is
now available on specific flights of a number of major international airlines.

Google Wifi

香港電訊推出Smart Living家居Wi-Fi服務方案，配備「Google Wifi」，利用個別Wi-Fi存取點建立一個網狀網絡，讓強大的Wi-Fi訊號覆蓋家居。

Wi-Fi連通城市

為支持政府的「Wi-Fi連通城市」計劃，香港電訊參與由政府資訊科技總監辦公室推出的「Wi-Fi.HK」公私營合作試驗計劃，自資於政府場地提供免費Wi-Fi服務。我們已於香港體育館及伊利沙伯體育館完成安裝Wi-Fi，並會在9月為香港文化中心提供全面的Wi-Fi覆蓋。

此外，香港電訊以「Wi-Fi.HK via csl」的品牌，於香港1,700多個熱點提供免費公共Wi-Fi服務。

Wi-Fi Connected City

In support of the Government’s Wi-Fi Connected City program, HKT has participated in the Wi-Fi pilot Public-Private Collaboration project initiated by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer to provide Wi-Fi service at government venues at our own cost. We have completed the Wi-Fi installation in Hong Kong Coliseum and Queen Elizabeth Stadium, and will provide full Wi-Fi coverage at Hong Kong Cultural Centre in September.

In addition, through the brand of “Wi-Fi.HK via csl”, HKT has been providing free Wi-Fi services for the public at more than 1,700 hotspots in Hong Kong.

戶外燈光約章計劃

香港電訊及其母公司電訊盈科參與環境局舉辦的戶外燈光約章計劃，並榮獲鉑金獎，以表揚我們每日晚上11時至翌日上午7時關掉指定專門店的外牆燈光。

Charter on External Lighting Scheme

HKT and its parent company PCCW have participated in the Charter on External Lighting scheme organized by the Environment Bureau and receive the Platinum Award for switching off external lighting at selected shops from 11 pm to 7 am.

IT夏令營2017

香港電訊及電訊盈科再度贊助「滬港台青少年IT夏令營」。8月1至5日，約60名來自上海、香港及台灣的學生走訪多間台灣政府機構及知名企業，了解智能城市的先進科技。

IT Summer Camp 2017

HKT and PCCW have again sponsored the Shanghai-Hong Kong-Taiwan Youth IT Summer Camp. Around 60 students from the three places visited government institutions and leading enterprises in Taiwan on August 1-5 to experience the advanced technologies of a smart city.

暗中作樂2017

《1O1O呈獻：暗中作樂2017》聲演會於8月24至27日舉行。集團義工於黑暗的環境中與視障人士一同工作，體現社會共融。

“1O1O Presents: Concert in the Dark 2017” was held on August 24-27. During the concerts, our volunteers worked with visually-impaired crew in the dark, carrying out the message of social inclusion in the community.
